Welcome to True Dry Cleaning and Laundry Limited (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Terms of Service”) govern your use of our website located at www.truedcl.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) and all associated services (collectively referred to as “Services”), operated by True Dry Cleaning and Laundry Limited.

Our Privacy Policy also governs your use of our Services and provides details on how we collect, safeguard, and disclose information resulting from your use of our Website and other services.

Your agreement with the Company consists of these Terms and our Privacy Policy (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Agreements”). By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Agreements, and you agree to be legally bound by them.

If you do not agree with or are unable to comply with the terms outlined in these Agreements, you are advised to refrain from using our Services. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Services.

 

Delivery Schedule

Scheduling of Pickups
Laundry pickup must be scheduled by the customer in advance. Pickup and delivery services are available weekly from Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays or other dates as determined by the Company at its sole discretion. The Company retains the right to reschedule pickup and delivery times upon prior notice to the customer.

Delivery Timeframe
Delivery will take place no earlier than twenty-four (24) hours after the time of pickup to ensure thorough cleaning and processing of items. Any delays will be communicated to the customer as soon as practicable.

 

Pickup and Delivery: Procedures and Terms

Scheduling and Availability
Customers must schedule their pickup in advance for a time slot within the specified delivery schedule (Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays). True Dry Cleaning and Laundry reserves the right to reschedule pickup and delivery services as necessary.

Geographical Restrictions
Pickup and delivery services are governed by geographical locations, with set days allocated for various regions. If a customer misses their scheduled pickup, the service will be forfeited. However, the customer may reschedule for a later time slot on the next available day.

Delivery Attempts and Fees
The Company will make two (2) attempts to deliver laundry. If these attempts are unsuccessful due to reasons outside the control of the Company or its delivery personnel, additional delivery attempts will incur a fee of Twenty-Five Trinidad and Tobago Dollars (TTD $25.00) per additional attempt.

Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that laundry bags do not contain any items that could cause damage to clothing, machinery, or other items during processing. The Company accepts no liability for damage resulting from objects left inside the garments or bags, and is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of unattended items.

Bag Policy
The Company does not automatically provide bags. Customers are required to provide their own bags, and plastic or paper bags may be automatically disposed of. The Company reserves the right to transfer items into provided bags during pickup and may refuse specific bags at its discretion.

 

Missed or Unattended Pickup & Delivery

Missed Pickup
If a customer misses a scheduled pickup, the service for that day will be forfeited. However, the customer may reschedule the service for the following available time slot.

Missed Delivery Attempts
For delivery, two (2) attempts will be made. If delivery fails due to reasons beyond the Company’s control, a fee of TTD $25.00 will be charged for each additional delivery attempt. The Company is not responsible for undelivered items due to the customer’s absence or incorrect delivery details.

 

Purchases

Purchase Information
If you wish to purchase any product or service available through the Company’s Services, you may be required to provide information relevant to the purchase, including but not limited to your credit or debit card number, card expiration date, billing address, and shipping information.

Customer Representation
You represent and warrant that you have the legal authority to use the payment method(s) provided and that all information submitted to the Company is accurate, complete, and valid.

Third-Party Payment Providers
The Company may employ third-party services to facilitate payment processing. By submitting your payment details, you grant us the right to provide your information to these third parties, subject to our Privacy Policy.

Right to Cancel
The Company reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order due to product unavailability, errors in the description or pricing, or suspicion of fraudulent or illegal transactions.

 

Subscriptions

Subscription Terms
Certain Services provided by the Company are offered on a subscription basis. Customers will be billed in advance on a recurring basis in accordance with the selected subscription plan.

Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless the customer cancels their subscription or the Company terminates the subscription. Subscription renewals are subject to the same terms and conditions as the original subscription.

Payment Details
Customers are required to provide accurate billing information, including a valid payment method, and authorize the Company to process recurring payments. If automatic billing fails, the Company reserves the right to terminate the subscription.

Subscription Cancellation
Customers may cancel their subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, the customer is entitled to continue receiving services for the remainder of the paid billing cycle.

 

Fee Changes

Modification of Fees
The Company reserves the right to modify subscription fees at its sole discretion. Changes to fees will become effective at the end of the current billing cycle. Reasonable notice of fee changes will be provided to customers.

Acceptance of New Fees
Continued use of the subscription service after fee changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified fees.

 

Contests, Sweepstakes and Promotions

Governing Rules
Any promotions, sweepstakes, or contests offered by the Company may be governed by rules separate from these Terms. By participating in any promotion, you agree to be bound by the specific rules applicable to that promotion.

 

Inventory Page

Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for accurately completing the inventory page provided for each pickup. The Company is not responsible for items not listed on the inventory page.

Right to Amend Inventory
The Company reserves the right to amend the inventory page based on a careful examination of the items in the laundry bag.

 

Garment Care

Care and Liability
The Company will use reasonable efforts to maintain a high standard of cleaning services. However, the Company assumes no liability for garments damaged during normal cleaning procedures or garments with missing care labels.

Special Care Items
Special care items must be clearly marked by the customer, and the Company assumes no responsibility for items not marked as “delicates” or “special care”.

 

Loss or Damage

Compensation for Loss or Damage
In the event of lost or damaged items, the Company will issue compensation based on the National Fair Claims Guide from the International Fabricare Institute (IFI). Compensation is limited to two and a half (2.5) times the cost of cleaning the item.

Pre-existing Damage
The Company accepts no responsibility for pre-existing damage or defects in garments.

 

Accounts

1Account Creation and Responsibility
When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

 

Limitation of Liability

No Liability for Indirect Damages
The Company and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our Services.

 

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Trinidad and Tobago, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or related to the Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Trinidad and Tobago.
