Pickup & Delivery Policy

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of pick-up and delivery services ("Services") offered by True Dry Cleaning and Laundry ("the Company"). By engaging in the Company’s Services, you, the customer ("Customer"), agree to be legally bound by the following Terms:

 

Scheduling

Pick-up services must be scheduled by the Customer in advance, at a time and date agreed upon with the Company. The Company will allocate a predetermined time slot based on availability.

Pick-up and delivery services are provided from Monday to Saturday, excluding any public holidays or other dates as determined by the Company, in its sole and absolute discretion.

The Company reserves the right to reschedule the agreed-upon time for pick-up or delivery, with prior notice to the Customer, in cases where unforeseen circumstances may arise or operational changes are required.

 

Delivery Timeframe

The Company undertakes to deliver the Customer’s items within a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours from the time of pick-up, in order to ensure sufficient time for processing, cleaning, and any necessary preparation of the items.

The actual timeframe for delivery may be influenced by factors beyond the Company’s control, such as weather conditions, transportation delays, or any other unforeseen events.

 

Geographical Schedule

The provision of Services will be offered in designated geographical areas, with specific days allocated to each area as follows:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Company reserves the right to alter or amend these geographic schedules, with prior notification to the Customer where practicable.

 

Missed/Unattended Pickup or Delivery

In the event that a Customer fails to be available or misses a scheduled pick-up, the pick-up service for that day shall be deemed forfeited. The Customer, at their discretion, may request a rescheduled pick-up for the next available time slot.

For delivery services, the Company will make two (2) attempts to deliver the items. Should the Customer fail to take delivery on both occasions, any further delivery attempts will attract a service charge of twenty-five Trinidad and Tobago dollars (TTD $25.00) per additional attempt.

Responsibility and Limitation of Liability

The Customer accepts full and complete responsibility for any foreign objects or materials left inside clothing or laundry bags that may result in damage to garments, cleaning machinery, or any other property of the Company or its customers.

The Company will not be held liable for any loss, damage, or theft of items that are left unattended by the Customer during pick-up or delivery. All items must be placed in a secure location as agreed upon by the parties for the purpose of pick-up and delivery.

In the event of loss or damage of items caused solely by the Company’s negligence, the Company’s liability shall be limited to a reimbursement not exceeding the fair market value of the lost or damaged item(s), subject to inspection and verification by the Company.

 

Bag Policy

The Company does not automatically supply bags for use in the provision of Services. Customers are encouraged to provide their own bags for the collection and return of their laundry items.

The Company reserves the right to dispose of any plastic or paper bags provided by the Customer. Other types of bags may be subject to disposal at the sole discretion of the Company, depending on the condition or suitability of the bag for the Services.

The Company further reserves the right to refuse to accept any specific bags provided by the Customer. In such instances, the Company may transfer the Customer’s items into alternative bags for the purpose of conducting the Services.

 

Communication

The Company may contact the Customer via phone call or WhatsApp messaging to confirm details of the order or to notify the Customer regarding any changes to the Services.

By engaging with the Company’s Services, the Customer consents to such communication methods and agrees to promptly respond to any such communications from the Company.

 

Modification of Terms and Conditions

True Dry Cleaning and Laundry reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to modify, amend, or update these Terms at any time, without prior notice to the Customer. Any such changes will take effect immediately upon being posted on the Company’s website or communicated to the Customer.

It is the responsibility of the Customer to review these Terms periodically to remain informed of any updates or modifications. Continued use of the Services following any amendments constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

 

Termination of Services

True Dry Cleaning and Laundry reserves the right to terminate or suspend its Services to any Customer, without liability, in the event of any breach of these Terms, inappropriate behavior, or failure to comply with the Company’s policies.

Upon such termination, any pending orders will be completed or cancelled at the Company’s discretion, and the Customer will be notified of the same.

 

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

Any disputes arising from or in connection with the use of the Services or these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Trinidad and Tobago.

 

Entire Agreement

These Terms represent the entire agreement between the Customer and True Dry Cleaning and Laundry with respect to the Services provided and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and representations, whether oral or written.

If any provision of these Terms is deemed unlawful, void, or unenforceable, it shall be severed from the Terms, and the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
